Notus, the name of this new notebook, has got a 12,1" screen and uses 50% less power dan 'normal' notebooks on the market. This means that the Zepto Notus has got a batterytime of 10 hours! The casing of this notus is partially made of magnesium so it only weights 1,1kg and it's a incredibly strong machine. It is strong enough to work after a fall of 1 meter high.

"Thanks to the new McCaslin processors of Intel, we have reduced the energylevel of this notebook to 4,1 Watt. This is measured with the Energy Star 4.0 standard. The normal energylevel of a notebook is between the 8-12 Watt" says Morten Kjærsgaard, COO, Zepto A/S.

The hardware in the Notus is also good protected, due to the liquidfree casing (the upside of the notebook) The Notus will be standard delivered with a 3,5 millimeter thick 12” LED backlight scherm, Bluetooth 2.0, Wireless-N and an TPM encryption module for the 80GB HDD.

The new 12" notebook can be ordered from 30 april 2008, for a price of 899,- euro including VAT'
