Sony STR-DA5300ES Home Theater Receiver
Sony today launched new audio/video receivers in its “Elevated Standard” (ES) line featuring compatibility with the latest audio formats including Dolby Labs’ Dolby® Digital +/Dolby® TrueHD and dts® High Resolution Audio and dts® HD Master Audio. The STR-DA5300ES, STR-DA4300ES and STR-DA3300ES 7.1 channel models offer iPod® intergration through the receiver’s Digital Media Port feature and optional iPod audio dock (TDM-iP1), sold separately. Users can then access digital music from most iPod players as well as the device’s playlists, artist, album and track information through the receiver’s Xross Media Bar™ (XMB) inspired icon-based, on-screen menu system.

United Rolls Out Lie-Flat Beds

United Airlines has revealed details of its new international United Business® experience that will provide customers with the optimal space to work, sleep or relax during long overseas flights. The international United Business cabin will feature a new seat that reclines to a 180º, 6-foot, 4-inch lie-flat bed and is designed to provide customers ultimate comfort with more features, space and personalization options during their international travel. Every inch of the innovative, forward- and rear-facing seat configuration is tailored to maximize personal space and privacy. Once the entire modification is completed in late 2009, customers can expect consistent lie-flat seating in United First and United Business across the carrier’s entire international fleet of 97 widebody B767, B747 and B777 aircraft.

Spyker C12 Zagato

Spyker C12 Zagato: the vehicle The Spyker C12 Zagato is an all aluminium rear wheel drive sports car, based on the Spyker C12 Spyder. The C12 is powered by the 6.0 liter, 12 cylinder, 500 bph W12 engine from Volkswagen AG and accelerates from 0-100 km (0-60 mph) in 3.8 seconds. The Spyker C12 Zagato is equipped with a six-speed manual or automatic gear box with F1 style shifting, Chronoswiss instruments and a Zagato designed full leather interior with brushed aluminium instrument panel.

Lomak: light operated mouse and keyboard
Lomak (light operated mouse and keyboard) is designed for people that have difficulty with, or are unable to use, a standard computer keyboard and mouse. A hand or head pointer controls a beam of light that highlights then confirms the key or mouse functions on the keyboard. By confirming each key, only the correct selection is entered, which reduces errors and increases input speed.
